Vegan cook Book review

2013-10-05 14.37.52 HDRI officially became a vegan a few months ago and it has been hands down one of the best decisions that I have made in a long time.  I had been living as a vegetarian for a year but I always knew  vegan was the goal… the big question was when?????. So one morning I woke up and said today is the day that I am going vegan… I am cutting out milk (which I had already done.) I was drinking almond milk. I was ready to give up  eggs because I had only had eggs about two times in a few months so that was easy. Now the hard part for me was cheese because I loved my veggie cheese burgers, and my veggie pizza with cheese.. can you tell I love cheese…lol. Then I found a few cheese replacements and that made it easy for me to live with out cheese. I had made up in my mind that “it is time”… Now I was on the hunt for a cook book that was  really easy and simply . I went to sam’s that  morning to get a few items then I found this little cutie ” 101 Best vegan foods”. I have learned so much from this book like how to  make my favorite foods BUT vegan style. It gives you in detail about the food, how to cook it and what it is best cooked with. I am so glad that I came across this book because it has made my vegan journey sweet and simply. I truly believe that knowledge is power and that you need to equip yourself to be successful in anything that you want to do. So if you are on the lookout for a vegan cook book look no further because this is it.

That’s awesome sis… you are such an inspiration! I agree that you need to equip yourself in order to be successful. I’m really interested in taking a more wholistic approach to my skin care and I know that my diet plays an important part. I’ve checked out books from my local library on vegetarian meals and diy cosmetics. Knowledge is definitely power.
